Where our journey began
The Taylor Family Foundation was set up in 2007 by Ian and Cristina Taylor.
As longstanding supporters of many charities, the Foundation enabled building on their existing charitable associations and the formation of a grants programme in their chosen areas of greatest need. To that end, we support charities giving opportunities to children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and difficult circumstances, to improve their chances of attaining success and to leading fulfilling lives.
The Foundation has now channelled £24 million into charitable organisations throughout the UK.
It allows us to provide long term support for sustainable projects which identify and assist children and their families in situations they will struggle to overcome alone. We are proud of our reach nationally, but being based in Wimbledon, we are determined to have a particular focus on the London Borough of Merton and to maintain as many local projects as we can manage.
